Cousin Sue....Grandpa played briefly in Bridgeport, Connecticut. His family stayed in Connecticut, with the exception of son Leslie, who went to Florida. Grandpa was never known as a fishmonger, but, did work for the insulation manufacturer, Johns Manville. Ironically, it was asbestosis contracted via that work that killed him instead of the usual black lung that downs a miner.

Frank's team photos have hung proudly in my folk's home for many years.

Hi, Frank Heppinstall was my G Aunts 2nd husband. They married before he went to Hamilton Academicals. In 1912 they emigrated to the USA and eventually he became a fishmonger. We think he went to play football but it didn't take off as a sport in the US. He died in the 60's in Connecticut.
